DNA Workshop is proud to celebrate the grand opening of Hollywood Heights and Acres Community, a vibrant new senior living community in North Baton Rouge. Designed with both comfort and community in mind, this 90-home neighborhood offers safe, affordable housing for residents aged 55 and older.

With a New Orleans Creole-inspired design, our architects created five unique shotgun-style facades while maintaining a cost-conscious approach, using uniform windows and doors to maximize efficiency without sacrificing charm. The development includes a lot of green space, providing plenty of room for walking, relaxing, and connecting with neighbors. At the heart of the community is a modern community center with an open kitchen, where residents can gather for celebrations and special events.

This project, owned by the Banyan Foundation and Partners Southeast, addresses a critical need for senior housing in the area. Demand has been overwhelming, with all 90 duplexes already leased and a waiting list of over 400 people.

Hollywood Heights and Acres Community is more than a place to live—it’s a place to belong. DNA Workshop is honored to have played a role in shaping a safe, welcoming, and beautifully designed community for Baton Rouge seniors.
