Architect
Yara Hantash grew up traveling and visiting family abroad where she encountered many different types of buildings, old and new, and saw how they shape the past, present, and future. She earned her Master of Architecture from Tulane University in 2020 and received a commendation from the university for her master’s thesis. While at Tulane, Yara participated in a design-build project to provide a new playground for the children of residents at a home for women in need. This project not only illustrated how thoughtful and meaningful design should be, but it also allowed Yara to discover her passion for being hands-on in the construction process and led to her fascination with concrete. Since joining DNA Workshop in 2022, she focuses primarily on multi-family renovations where she’s proud to make an impact with her work and contributions to the profession. In her spare time, she loves reading, collecting country music records, exploring film photography, and cooking.
