Associate Interior Designer
Carly earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2020. During her time at VCU, she developed a strong foundation in residential, commercial, and hospitality design through a range of academic and professional experiences. Following graduation, Carly worked as a design assistant on projects throughout the greater Richmond area, further expanding her expertise across multiple project types and scales. Carly joined DNA Workshop in 2022 and is based in the firm’s Richmond office. Since joining the team, she has contributed to a diverse portfolio of restaurant, workplace, retail, and multifamily new construction and renovation projects.
With a strong background in creative interior design, project management, space planning, and computer-aided design, Carly brings thoughtful creativity and technical precision to every project. Her collaborative approach and attention to detail allow her to develop innovative design solutions that balance aesthetics, functionality, and client goals. Outside of the office, Carly enjoys spending time with her husband and miniature dachshund, Marlo, exploring Richmond’s restaurant scene, attending live music events, and traveling to nearby beaches, which she considers a second home.
