Achieving Sustainable Design With DNA Workshop
Sustainable design is good design. At DNA Workshop, we create buildings and spaces that provide comfort, functionality, and inspiration to the occupants, while minimizing the environmental impact on the community and reducing operating costs by utilizing sustainable design practices. Our dedication to sustainable design has helped us gain recognition as a leading firm in the industry. Learn why partnering with us can pave the way toward exceptional and sustainable project outcomes.
LEED Certification
Our goal is to create the most sustainable and environmentally friendly architecture possible. LEED, which stands for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, is the most widely used green building rating system. It provides a framework for designing, constructing, and operating high-performance buildings that can achieve climate preservation and ESG goals. DNA Workshop has achieved LEED Certification on several of our projects, including our own headquarters, and understands the unique demands of designing with the goal of a LEED certification.
Enterprise Green Communities Certification
In addition to LEED certification, we can also design according to Enterprise Green Communities Certification criteria. This certification provides a set of criteria for building and designing green, energy-efficient homes and communities that are sustainable, durable, and affordable. Designing in accordance with these criteria can promote the creation of spaces that are sustainable, efficient, and integrative to the community.
National Green Building Standard
At DNA Workshop, we can adhere to the National Green Building Standard (NGBS) to ensure that our buildings and communities are as sustainable as possible. The NGBS is the only green building rating system developed under the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) consensus process. It provides a framework for building and designing homes, communities, and commercial buildings that are energy-efficient, environmentally friendly, and sustainable.
Earthcraft
Earthcraft certification standards can also be utilized to guide us to create sustainable buildings that are both energy-efficient and environmentally conscious. Earthcraft is a green building certification system that focuses on building energy- and water-efficient homes and buildings, while also providing a healthier indoor environment. By adhering to Earthcraft certification standards, we are able to create buildings that are not just sustainable but also healthier for those that inhabit them.
Leading the Way With Sustainable Design
DNA Workshop has experience utilizing these green architecture standards to ensure that the architecture we design is as sustainable and environmentally friendly as possible.
