Associate Architect
Before beginning her architectural studies at Louisiana State University, Yingxue received her Bachelor of Engineering from Zhejiang University of Science and Technology in Hangzhou, Zhejiang, China. She went on to graduate from Louisiana State University with a Master of Architecture in 2017. In her first year at LSU, she received the Faculty Design Academic Achievement Award from the School of Architecture. During her studies, she served as a research assistant of fabrication and became very familiar with design equipment such as 3D printers, laser cutters, and CNC machines. When she studied abroad in Rome, she not only immersed herself in European architecture and its history, but also served as a graduate assistant who was responsible for program promotion and updates via social media. Following graduation in 2017, Yingxue joined DNA Workshop where she works on commercial, residential, and multi-family renovation projects. When she’s away from the office, she is traveling or planning her next trip.
