Director of Multifamily Development & Preservation
Paul Siegel received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Denver as well as certificates in Construction Management and Residential Green Building from Colorado State University. Paul served as a Senior Project Manager for 15 years at Dominion Due Diligence Group (D3G) in Midlothian, Virginia, where he coordinated a multi-disciplinary staff of Plan & Code Reviewers, Cost Estimators, Construction Analysts, Construction Inspectors, and Project Managers. Prior to joining D3G in 2009, Paul worked as a general contractor and construction superintendent in the Denver Metro where he held a Class B Building Contractors License. His work experience includes completing inspections, reviewing documents, and providing reports for submission to HUD, Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, and LIHTC Agencies and has contributed to the successful construction & rehabilitation of affordable, market-rate and adaptive re-use projects throughout the United States. Paul also possesses an in-depth knowledge of accessibility guidelines and compliance.
Paul acts as Director of Multifamily Development & Preservation for DNA Workshop. While based in the firm’s Richmond office, he leverages his experience to support DNA’s clients and team of architects and designers in all three offices. Regarded as a subject matter expert in the industry, Paul has served as a panelist at conferences for the Eastern Lenders Association, the Western Mortgagee Advisory Council, and the Alabama Affordable Housing Association.
Outside of work, Paul keeps busy rehabbing cars, and performing renovations or home improvement projects based on his wife’s rogue decorating ideas. As a father of three, he also enjoys hanging out with the kids, and attending farmers markets, car shows and sporting events.
