LaQuinton graduated in 2012 earning his Bachelor of Architecture from Louisiana State University. While at LSU, he took advantage of two valuable semesters at the Washington-Alexandria Architecture Consortium (WAAC), Virginia Tech’s urban campus, which honed his eye for design and craftsmanship. LaQuinton joined DNA Workshop in 2012 and today, specializes in affordable housing renovations, historic renovation, and has overseen projects of various scales through all phases of design, from programming to construction administration and LEED documentation. He was project manager for the Weinstein Pool House, which garnered a 2015 AIA Baton Rouge Design Award. LaQuinton also places great value on community involvement and sustainability, having participated in several leadership positions with the local Baton Rouge Chapter and Louisiana Chapter of AIA, Habitat for Humanity, USGBC, and Mid City Merchant’s Association. When not in the studio, he has found time to volunteer on the Baton Rouge Blues Festival steering committee and serves as a design critic for LSU’s School of Architecture.
