Administrative & Marketing Assistant
Susan Shibut received her Bachelor of Science, Mass Communication degree with a concentration in multimedia journalism from Virginia Commonwealth University. She worked in public relations and marketing at The Valentine as well as a Producer/Coordinator at Riggs Ward Design, both in Richmond. She also performed freelance editing and design for a range of clients in the area. Susan’s writing and photography has been published by dozens of news organizations, including the Washington Post, Chicago Tribune and U.S. News & World Report.
Susan joined the DNA Workshop team’s Richmond office in 2025, where she contributes to all aspects of marketing including graphic design, copywriting, and administrative tasks, all aimed at enhancing the company’s brand and outreach. She brings a designer’s eye to marketing, specializing in creating eye-catching proposals, promotions, and advertising materials. During Susan’s downtime, she enjoys running, reading, crocheting, baking, and playing video games. When she’s not at the gym, you can usually find her relaxing with her cat, Archibald.
